We are seeking an experienced Engineering Specialist to join our team. 

The Engineering Specialist is responsible for a variety of tasks including product design and development, and customization of existing products.  In addition, assisting the Production team to develop processes and troubleshoot any issues on the production floor, supporting the Estimating staff, and assisting the Customer Service/Sales team with technical inquiries.

Key Skills and experience:
  • Strong proficiency with 3D CAD software (PTC Creo preferred)
  • Previous experience in mechanical drafting and manufacturing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering support to estimating staff
  • Collaborate on new product development, as well as new features and improvements to existing products
  • Participate in the development of test plans and procedures
  • First Article Inspections (FAI)
  • Prepare Design documents
  • Bills of materials (BOM) created for new or customized products
  • Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies or improve product performance
  • Work closely with quality control and production teams to solve production issues
  • Investigate design issues and implement corrective actions
